Q) How do I place my ad?

A) The procedure is very simple and explained by the following steps:

  1. Choose the appropriate advertising campaign from the above options
  2. Click the “Buy Now” button
  3. You will be taken to the PayPal website where you will need to confirm the details of the subscription
  4. Once you have confirmed the PayPal subscriptions details and payment you will be directed back to ScreencastWorld where you will need to complete the advert form.  The form has several required fields including: the link URL for your advert, your desired alt text, the image advert you want to display (if appropriate), the PayPal transaction ID and your PayPal ID  (so we can confirm the subscription has been successful), and your contact details so we can email you once your advert is live.

Q) What payment do you accept?

A) We currently only accept PayPal Subscriptions but are looking at ways to extend the range of payment gateways.

Q) How long after paying will be advert be visible on ScreencastWorld?

A) We aim to have your advert online and making impressions within 48hrs.  We’re working on an automated system to improve this time and maximise your investment.

Q) Do I have to sign a contract?

A) No.  ScreencastWorld is a pay-as-you-go service.  There are no long term contracts or commitments on your part.  You simply pay month-to-month.  If you decide to cancel, you’ll be billed for the current month, but you won’t be billed again.

Q) Do I need to create an account?

A) No.  Although we encourage all of our readers and partners to register for our newsletter, this is not a requirement to advertise on ScreencastWorld.  All we require is an active PayPal subscription to keep your advert online.

Q) Can I cancel my advertising subscription at any time?

A) Absolutely!  All you need to do is cancel the subscription within your PayPal account.  If you decide to cancel, you’ll be billed for the current month, but you won’t be billed again.  Your advert will be removed within 48hrs.

Q) Will the price of advertising go up?

A) We are continually reviewing the pricing structure to give you the best deal possible.  As our site grows in popularity and the number of visitors increases, so will the impression count.  As such the cost of new subscriptions may rise as the value of the adverts increases.  Anyone with a current subscription will keep that rate for the lifetime of the subscription.  If you decide to cancel your subscription and then renew it at some future point, you will pay the new price.
